Who We Are
The people behind the Tri- Island Change Initiative C. I.C
Tri-Island Change Initiative was established in response to the devastating impact of Hurricane Beryl, which struck several Caribbean islands, including Grenada, Carriacou, and Petite Martinique, collectively known as the Tri-islands. This initiative aims to be a community hub, supporting and encouraging individuals to make positive changes in their lives, striving for a better future for themselves and their families.
Founders
The founders of Tri-Island Change Initiative are either descendants of Carriacou, Grenada, or Grenadian nationals. Proud to call themselves "Kayaks," they frequently return home, visiting three to four times a year.
Although we did not experience Hurricane Beryl firsthand, their homes, along with those of over 10,000 residents, were either damaged or destroyed, including businesses. An estimated 98% of the community now faces extreme hardship. Despite this, the people of Carriacou and Petite Martinique remain resilient and strong, but they need your help to rebuild.
We have established the Tri-Island Change Initiative as a Community Interest Company (CIC) to assist and support the community in rebuilding itself and helping low-income individuals become independent. We are committed to ensuring that every donation—whether clothes, food, disability equipment, PPE for the clinic and hospital, household equipment —directly aids those affected. Transparency is our priority, and we will keep you informed about how your donation is making a difference.
